Dog Friendly Caravan Parks in Merimbula
All of the Merimbula caravan parks mentioned in this guide are pet-friendly, except for Discovery Parks – Pambula Beach. Of course, each caravan park has its unique policy regarding pets. Some caravan parks will require advance notice if you’re taking your beloved four-legged friend. And, some of the caravan parks will charge additional fees for pets. So, make sure to read the caravan park’s respective pet policy before booking.
You may be wondering why Discovery Parks – Pambula Beach doesn’t allow pets. Well, that’s to protect the abundant wildlife on-site, such as the resident kangaroos we previously mentioned.
How to Get to Merimbula
The most convenient way to get to and around Merimbula is to drive. Especially, if you’re travelling from Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne, you’ll find driving is the easiest way to get to the South Coast of NSW. Indeed, public transport isn’t a realistic option given services aren’t readily available or reliable for these sorts of long trips. If you don’t have a car, caravan or motorhome, we recommend hiring one for your trip to Merimbula.
