At Travel Made Me Do It, we love waterfalls! Almost as much as hiking. When you combine the two, well that’s our idea of heaven. Our favourite hobby is hiking. Whilst, our favourite natural phenomenon are waterfalls. Many of our trips are based around visiting this natural wonder. The power. The energy. The amazement. Big or small, we like to see them! Moreover, one of the main writers of Travel Made Me Do It is actually known as a waterfall junkie!
The fascination began when visiting Vanuatu. The huge set of falls there are incredible. That’s when the obsession began. Luckily, in and around Sydney, are different hot spots for waterfalls. Subsequently, many a weekend would be spent going to these different areas to see them. The Blue Mountains, the Southern Highlands and Royal National Park having the best.
Visiting the world’s best waterfalls wouldn’t stop there. The Iguassu Falls in Brazil and Argentina was next. THE best in the world. One of our most incredible experiences. Furthermore, the waterfall obsession would continue into Scandinavia. An area rich of this natural phenomenon. A Norway road trip allowed us to see many. As a result, Norway is on of our favourite countries. The hiking there is immense also. Next was Iceland. Another country full of waterfalls. It’s difficult to explain the beauty of Iceland. This is because it’s unlike any other place we have been to. Iceland is so raw and unique. The waterfalls there certainly added to the immensity of the place.
